Littovia Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Littovia handles information for the California kindergarten pilot, including family-school communication, student records, health context, pickup safety, notifications, and audit logs.
Information we collect
We collect school and class information, student profile data, parent and teacher account data, health cards, attendance records, pickup authorizations, announcements, direct messages, message receipts, device sessions, push notification tokens, and security verification data.
For children, we process only the data needed to operate school workflows, health and pickup safety, family communication, and audit tracking.
How we use information
We use information for authentication, class and student management, health and pickup safety, notifications, operational audit trails, product reliability, and day-to-day communication between schools and families.
We do not sell student or family information to ad networks, and we do not use children's information for unrelated personalized advertising.
Access and sharing
Platform administrators access information only for operations and security support. Principals can access their school scope. Teachers can access assigned classes. Parents can access linked students, subject to archive visibility windows, trusted-device checks, and identity verification.
Service providers may process information only to operate the platform, including cloud hosting, authentication, database storage, and push notification delivery.
Storage and retention
Information is stored in cloud systems protected by scoped access controls. Original class-feed images are kept only for a limited product window and then removed, while compressed copies may remain available for normal viewing.
Graduated or transferred students move into an archived state. Families keep a 30-day visibility window by default unless the school closes access earlier.
Your choices and California rights
California users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their own account-related information, and may ask how personal information is handled and shared.
If a request touches children's information, we verify the requester's identity and authority against school, guardian, and legal requirements before taking action.
Contact
For privacy or deletion requests, use the account deletion page or email le0nchen@yahoo.com.
Schools participating in the pilot may also route requests through their designated administrator.
