Confirm the role boundary first

  1. 1.Platform admins create schools, configure or deactivate principal/director accounts, and operate platform security, audit, and privacy workflows.
  2. 2.School admins manage only their own school's classes, students, teachers, parent relationships, and school safety work.
  3. 3.Teachers use invited accounts in the iOS app and access assigned classes, class posts, and one-to-one conversations they participate in.
  4. 4.Children do not create Littovia accounts. Never share admin or teacher accounts or forward invitation and password-reset links.

School admin web dashboard

For principals and directors. Example school shortcut: /lcs.

  1. 1Sign in: enter an approved admin email, receive the 6-digit email code, and submit it. The dashboard does not use passwords, authenticator apps, or device enrollment.
  2. 2Create classes: open Classes, enter the class name and level, then assign teachers from the class detail page.
  3. 3Create students: open Students, create the student in a class, then link the parent account and guardian relationship.
  4. 4Invite teachers or parents: open the current school under Schools, choose the account role and class or student, then send the invitation. For multiple children, reuse the same parent email and link each student separately.
  5. 5Content safety: review parent reports about class posts within the school and record the resolution using only the information needed.
  6. 6Deactivate access: deactivate accounts when staff leave, relationships end, or risk is detected. Relationships remain for audit and possible reactivation.
  7. 7Audit and privacy: review audit logs and security alerts. Verify identity and authority before correcting or deleting child-related data.

Platform admin web dashboard

For Littovia platform operations, not routine school record management.

  1. 1Create a school: open Schools and enter a school name and unique short path using lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens.
  2. 2Invite a principal or director: open the school, enter the name, work email, and phone, then send the admin invitation.
  3. 3Deactivate an admin: deactivate the account when an administrator leaves or a school is paused. Preserve historical audit records.
  4. 4Platform security: review risky sign-ins, account deactivation, and audit events. Revoke access before investigating a credible incident.
  5. 5Privacy operations: process only verified access, correction, and deletion requests. Do not browse class posts, child files, or private message bodies.
  6. 6Least privilege: a platform admin does not replace the school in maintaining students, classes, health records, or family relationships.

Teacher iOS app

Teachers sign in to Littovia with the school-invited email and password.

  1. 1Sign in: set the password from the invitation, enter email and password in the app, complete bot protection, and establish the first trusted device.
  2. 2Class posts: open Feed, choose an assigned class, upload 1–9 photos, and add optional text. Select every identifiable student or attest that no child is identifiable.
  3. 3Before publishing: confirm each student's media consent, the content, and the class scope. The app blocks unauthorized family access.
  4. 4Family messaging: open Connect, choose a student and an associated parent, then start or continue the one-to-one conversation. Do not forward messages or child data outside the conversation.
  5. 5Student information: view only assigned-class students and necessary information. Ask the school admin to correct relationships or records.
  6. 6Personal settings: upload an avatar, review legal documents, and sign out under Me. The school manages name, role, and class assignments.
  7. 7Not in this release: the teacher app does not include attendance, pickup release, clock-in, temporary pickup codes, or admin features.

Troubleshooting

Check account, role, and school assignment first.

  1. 1No school data: confirm the correct school entry, an active admin account, and a fresh email-code sign-in.
  2. 2Teacher cannot see a class: ask the school admin to check the teacher-class relationship instead of creating a duplicate teacher.
  3. 3Parent cannot see a child: add the student relationship to the same parent email instead of creating another parent identity.
  4. 4A post cannot publish: check the class, student tags, media consent, image count, and network connection.
  5. 5Suspected compromise: sign out, change the email password, and ask Littovia support to deactivate the affected admin account.
